Defined Looks Take Center Stage

HIGH POINT – California-based case goods company Najarian Furniture expanded its product assortment at the recent High Point Market with new bedroom and dining room groups whose success demonstrated that the long sought out transitional trend is now making room for more defined looks.

“These last couple of years transitional has been a leading trend and a real strength for us,” says Michael Lawrence, vice president of sales and marketing. “And we’ll continue to feed that hungry market in creative ways by incorporating unique details that reflect a more modern sensibility.”

During the Spring High Point Market, the company introduced new collections that are markedly contemporary, reclaimed looks, as well as styles boasting an architectural influence.

According to Lawrence, the perspectives paid off as several collections were noted by retailers as being, “the best thing they’d seen” at Market.

“Business is up and we’re seeing some consistent momentum on groups at retail,” notes Lawrence. “For retailers there’s a sweet spot of opportunity as shoppers are finally comfortable buying again. Business is good and retailers are looking for fresh, standout styles that offer a high level of perceived value for their customers.”
