HIGH POINT – Trend setting case goods importer Najarian Furniture, introduced its architecturally inspired, 3D Rodeo Collection at the recent High Point Market. Credited as being one of the hottest new trends in both interior and exterior design, the classic, organic, yet modern stacked stone dimensional look is far from new, yet is being reinvented in Najarian Furniture’s Rodeo collection. According to Michael Lawrence, vice president of sales and marketing, the staggered pattern, which creates a three-dimensional mosaic, adds a sophisticated layer of texture to the collection’s appeal. The Rodeo collection touches on a couple of trends we’re seeing both in architecture as well as interior design. The drawer fronts are designed to mimic the stack stone-styled cladding that is prevalent now in contemporary building design. The pattern itself feels varied while still looking clean and sophisticated,” according to Lawrence. The dining and bedroom collection, crafted in Mango Solids and Cherry Veneers, encompasses sixteen pieces and features a rich, luxurious Walnut finish. Notable features include:
- Round tapered legs endcapped with brass caps that harmoniously tie into thoughtful hardware giving a slight nod to the current mid-century revival.
- A fabric upholstered headboard in the bedroom collection accented with just a hint of wood trim, softening the collection and adding to its eclectic feel and appeal.
- A glass top pedestal dining table that incorporates 2 drawers for convenient storage and fills the void for well-designed glass top dining tables at a mid-priced point.
- We listen to our retailers and what they see as being important in the marketplace,” states Lawrence. “From there, we design and present product. We’re hearing that more consumers are looking for casual glass top dining with great design. We’re seeing that a majority of shoppers don’t necessarily want ‘matching’ case pieces evidenced by the growth in sales of fully upholstered beds. Both the dining and bedroom selections in the Rodeo Collection are in line with what retailers are looking to present on their sales floors and what shoppers are seeking for their homes.” Najarian unveiled the new Rodeo Collection during the recent April High Point Market.
