Najarian Furniture Adds Three Collections at the October High Point Market

HIGH POINT - Najarian Furniture is adding three fashion-forward bedroom and dining room collections during the upcoming October High Point Market covering a range of contemporary, transitional, and traditional style categories to its ever-stylish case goods line.

Introductions include a high-fashion, avant-garde style casual dining collection, a classic traditional American inspired bedroom and dining collection, and a clean-lined contemporary dining and bedroom collection. The designs are original, trend-setting, and ruefully chic.

“Retailers continue to look to Najarian for high style at a high perceived value,” said Michael Lawrence, vice president of sales and marketing, “It’s what we’re known for and what we’ve successfully brought to the marketplace for over 25 years to more than half of the Top 100 furniture dealers.”

This High Point Market, Najarian plays on their strengths of creating out-of-the-ordinary mixed media collections, incorporating European influences and translating them to American styling and presenting retailers with a variety of fresh looks not to be found elsewhere.

New collections include:

Riviera: This 24 piece bedroom and dining collection draws inspiration from classic, traditional American styles, and features a rich Pecan finish embellished with metal inlays, giving the pieces a slight industrial feel. The updated collection is made over to a more relaxed transitional feel, making it the perfect fit for shoppers who love the familiar, yet still want something trendy.

Headliners of the Riviera collection include:

A bed that can be constructed in several different ways, as customization continues to be of huge importance to shoppers. Shoppers can choose from a bed that has no storage, storage in the footboard, or the grand captain’s bed that has six storage drawers.

The dining collection incorporates complementary contrasting metal details on the apron of the table. The two side chair options include a wood-framed upholstered back side chair and a fully upholstered back with large nail heads for a more casual, eclectic look. The server and china also incorporate metal details. The china features sliding doors for a clean, elegant look.

Fantasia: The name says it all for this “fantastical airy” 12-piece bedroom and dining collection fashioned in white lacquer and chocolate. Clean-lines, contemporary styling, and a modern Italian-influenced twist give this collection a serene, modern feeling without feeling cold. While the style is more commonly fashioned in simple lines and smaller scaled furnishings, Fantasia takes the high road with its larger scale, scalloped design features on the drawers, a contrasting chocolate base, and bold turned legs bejeweled with chrome caps. The collection’s abundant elegance and ornamental detail complete the look. From modern to transitional decors, or as stand-alone statement makers, the Fantasia collection is sure to not only complement, but impress.

Orbit, a three-piece casual dining collection in an Espresso finish offers shoppers with smaller dining spaces a refined high-end, formal dining feel, in a fraction of the size. The avant-garde styled collection offers shoppers an alternative to the sea of traditional brown sets that are commonly found in “casual dining.” The collection incorporates mixed media elements such as mirror and contrasting gold wood design inlay and dramatic turned legs. The server is a work of art and not only functions in the dining but also makes a dramatic statement in a foyer, hallway, or fashion bath.

These collections as well as others not mentioned will be introduced in Najarian’s 30,500-square-foot showroom in the 220 Elm building, Space 220 during the upcoming High Point Market being held October 17 through October 22.
